Aims and Objectives

The objectives of the Centre is to help and educate young people through their leisure time activities, enabling them to develop their physical, mental and social skills that they may grow to full maturity as individuals and members of society and thus enable them to improve their life condition.

It is the intention of the management to encourage the young people to become involved in every aspect with the centre as it is considered to be their centre.

Hello and Welcome

What is a youth club?

Youth clubs give young people a low-cost place to go outside of school, offering them a sense of belonging. The activities and support from club leaders and volunteers allow young people to learn new skills and build confidence and resilience for the future, as well as have fun.

Young people choose to go there, with youth clubs open to all young people.  Relationships are also at the heart of youth clubs - both with friends and the adults who work there. For some young people, their relationship with their youth worker or club volunteer may be the only meaningful relationship they have with an adult – and it can be life changing.

Youth clubs offer something for everyone. We want to make sure every young person in the UK has access to a club that’s right for them.

Latest projects - We need your Help!

Due to the age of the building we are constantly having to find funds for repairs and need your help, over the years many young people have enjoyed this youth centre and not realised how we have survived. we are a charity and depend on donations to help keep us up and running, it would be a shame if we had to close. we like to keep our hiring costs down so that it is affordable for the people of Ellesmere Port. Different aged groups use the facilities so we all benefit from one of the oldest clubs still running in Ellesmere port. Please help us to keep it running for your children and grandchildren.

Over the last couple of years we have needed to have a lot of maintenance work carried out on the building. We have had to have new drainpipes, new window frames.
The fencing at the rear of the building has been replaced after obtaining joint funding from Dane Housing and local Councillors.
We have had all the electrics checked and replaced where necessary. We are very grateful to our local councillors who have given donations from their community fund over time.

There is also an outside all weather pitch, which is for basketball and 5-aside football. Unfortunately this is unavailable for use at this time as it needs urgent investment and refurbishment. If anyone has any way of supporting us with this, it would be gratefully received. Please click below to contact us.
